Longevity Cities, explained

What makes a city a longevity city?

A longevity city is a metropolitan area with a concentrated ecosystem of longevity-focused resources: research centres, clinics offering biological age testing, practitioner networks, and recurring community events where residents share evidence-based strategies for extending healthspan. Longevity Cities maps these ecosystems and runs free local chapters in each.

Which cities are considered longevity capitals in 2026?

The most active longevity hubs in 2026 are Boston (Harvard and MIT research density), San Francisco (biotech and biohacker overlap), Munich and Zurich (European longevity clinics and DACH research), Vienna (home of the Paracelsus 10000 cohort), and increasingly Miami and Austin. The Longevity Cities network operates free community chapters in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the USA, and China, covering the cities where community interest and clinical infrastructure are strongest.

How do I find a longevity community near me?

Start with the country grid above to reach the network site for your region, or open the full Cities directory to see every currently active chapter. Each chapter page lists upcoming meetups, the local chapter lead, and verified longevity-testing spots (DEXA, VO2max, biological age) near the meetup venue.

What happens at a Longevity Cities meetup?

A typical meetup pairs a short expert talk, often from a clinician, researcher, or athlete, with a supervised testing demo (biological age, HRV, or grip strength) and informal peer discussion. Venues rotate between partner clinics, co-working spaces, and community spots. Events are free, ad-free, and recorded only with explicit attendee consent.

Are Longevity Cities events free?

Yes. Every event listed across the network is free to attend. Longevity Cities does not sell supplements, treatments, or courses. Chapters are run by volunteer chapter leads and funded through partner venues and small sponsor contributions from vetted longevity clinics.

Do I need a scientific background to join?

No. Chapters welcome curious newcomers, clinicians, researchers, athletes, and longevity-curious professionals equally. Every speaker is briefed to pitch their talk for both audiences, so a first-time attendee can follow along while specialists still learn something new.

How is Longevity Cities different from a longevity clinic?

Longevity Cities is a free community movement, not a paid clinical service. We do not prescribe, treat, or sell. We help you learn, meet local practitioners, and find credible testing options near you. Clinics listed on chapter pages are independent. Their presence is informational, not an endorsement.
